Amsterdam

Directly after my Social Cognition exam on Thursday morning I met with Laura at the train station to go to Amsterdam for the night. I was so disorganized after studying the past few days that I had to run back to my room twice for my passport and bankcard. When we arrived around 2pm we met up with three of Laura’s friends from Germany, Konrad, Jakob, and Lisa. We dropped our stuff off at the hostel and then walked around the city for a couple hours.

We sat down at a café on the canal for coffee and hot chocolate. Afterwards we met up with another one of Laura’s friends, Tilly and had a drink at a different café. Later on after grabbing some coats from the hostel we went out in search of dinner. We ate at a cheap pasta place very close to our hostel that made homemade pasta. After dinner we walked around the red light district, which was…interesting.

Lovely Laura :)

On our second day in Amsterdam it wasn’t nearly as warm as the first. We took a fairy boat across to the film museum and spent a couple hours inside. Later in the afternoon we headed home in order to attend the Carpe Dinner at Carpe Diem
